![]() ![]() Jack is a great choice for glitched weapons, since he can reload them without having to actually. shotties work great with any boost, so look for ones with 4's across the board. I put this, because it's counter intuitive, and really only becomes an issue to consider when using "red glitch" mode. So, summary: most efficient damage per ammo, in order from best to worst: splitter, rail, blaster, beam. at the harder levels, the splitter is gonna end up being more efficient. If you go the hyperion route for all parts but the barrel (tediore), it can be very much used like an overpowered, shorter range sniper rifle, that does more damage per shot than a similar glitched sniper rifle! That said, druing normal gameplay, I still would recommend beam over splitter, simply because you can go longer without having to reload, and most of the enemies will go down to a single headshot no matter which gun you are using. in red mode, it does twice the damage per ammo of the blaster when doing crits, for example, even though the two guns have the same supposed crit multiplier. Also, most efficient damage wise is surprisingly the splitter. the red especially is brutal for continuous firing lasers (beam - any laser with a maliwan barrel). ![]() the other two types of boosts don't work well for lasers. this either boosts amp damage (will turn emerald green and do about +10-45% damage per shot using your shield to amp depending on gun and level) or massive damage boost plus extra ammo usage, plus hugely reduced fire rate (glows bright red). lasers and snipers work best with a m4L0M0A4 glitch series on them. This stuff you can find in almost any guide: Oh, and you lose whatever glitch status is on your weapon when you click on any quest giver. so, if you want to avoid getting any bonuses to trigger other than the one you want, then disable your baddass bonuses before attempting to trigger a glitch. what that means is, even if you have say a glitch series that only boosts one type of glitch bonus, your increased elemental chance from baddassery can make it so you can technically get ANY bonus to pop, though far less likely than your primary. if you have your elemental chance boosted via badass tokens, you will also boost the chance for glitches. by and large, if you notice a glow effect start WITHOUT having reloaded your gun, it's probably a glitch. sometimes, you will get the glow for a glitch effect, but the effect is not active. I mean that in the actual sense of the term. Some things I noticed about glitch weapons:
